Sketch series celebrating the radical act of mundane living. Published in an A5 zine with more than twenty other artists coming together to celebrate existing, copies sold for £12, organised by antiburnout.co.uk .
Reflective upon the normalised power and beauty found in life, in the act of existence without great action. Promoting and upholding the motion of living as a verb, as a consequence or happening of naturally progressive events. Though the message of the sketch is intentionally open to its interpreters to take as they like, the inspiration is undoubtedly rooted in celebrating the act of living as a powerful defiance - in the face of modern commercialism and commodification of one’s time and direction. And with steadfast celebration of the sun, pears, and bees.
