Orchestrated collaborative performance over the course of one month, resulting in a network of stickers criss-crossing all over the South West (Cornwall, Devon, Somerset and Guernsey included). Devised and directed by Ellen McPetrie. Focussed aim of embodying community, connection, and compassion through creativity; against the setting of social depravation and a nation-wide public struggle to affordably and sustainably access the arts. Reflective of community, connection, and social splits.
150 stickers with various messages, drawings, and games (of kind or silly nature) were handed out to a group of 43 performance participants, with the brief of distributing them as far and as wide as possible in the public space. However - with the once condition of not going out of their way to do so, the stickers were to be distributed through natural placement occuring alongside the carrying out of their routine lives. The performance was a success, the participants followed the brief and all the stickers were stuck at the end of the one month period.
